چکیده
In recent years, the devastating earthquakes that occurred in many parts of world have made it even more important design earthquake-resistant structures and earthquake performance assessment existing structures. When innovative systems are examined building design, is seen depending on developments performance-based designs come to fore addition force-based design. This paper provides a new method’s model for multi-storey buildings can achieve same resistance against seismic movements by using less concrete reinforcement SAP2000. Modeling studies braced frame system used steel reinforced with different heights was carried out according 2019 Turkey Building Earthquake Code (TBEC) Turkish Standard 498 (TS 498). modeling 20, 30 40 storey buildings, strength tried be obtained reinforcement. As result studies, has been this system, which determined all models, an advantageous terms both volume, weight stabilization compared shear wall system.

Evaluation of Seismic Performance of Combined Horizontal and Vertical Hexagrid Structural System for High-rise Buildings
Summary In this study, the seismic performance of hexagrid structures which are composed of horizontal and vertical hexagrid by using a transitional story, has been investigated. To this end, 10 models of 50-story hexagrid structures were designed. 9 models with horizontal hexagrid cells which transited to vertical cells using a transitional story, and a model of completely horizontal hexagrid ...

With respect to the dissipation of energy through plastic deformation of joints of prefabricated wall units, the paper points out the principal importance of efficient reinforcement of the prefabricated system at its joints. The method, quality and amount of reinforcement are essential for reaching the necessary degree of joint ductility. The paper presents partial results of experimental resea...
متن کاملProbabilistic assessment of the seismic damage in reinforced concrete buildings
The main objective of this article is to assess the expected seismic damage in reinforced concrete buildings from a probabilistic point of view by using Monte Carlo simulation. To do that, the seismic behavior of the building is studied by using random capacity obtained by considering the mechanical properties of the materials as random variables. Starting from the capacity curves, one can obta...
متن کاملEvaluation of Seismic Vulnerability of Reinforced Concrete Buildings Adjacent to the Deep Excavations
In this study, the effect of deep excavation on the seismic response of RC moment resisting building systems has been studied. Deep excavation can cause significant changes in the stress and strain levels of soil environment and also changes in the propagation of seismic waves. This leads to permanent displacements in the foundation system. In this study, three RC building systems, i.e. 5, 10, ...
متن کاملProbabilistic Seismic Evaluation of Reinforced Concrete Structural Components and Systems
An accurate evaluation of the structural performance of reinforced concrete structural systems under seismic loading requires a probabilistic approach due to uncertainties in structural properties and the ground motion (referred to as basic uncertainties). The objective of this study is to identify and rank significant sources of basic uncertainties and structural components with respect to the...
